Cote De Nuits

This is the northern part of the Côte d'Or, the land of the magnificent red wines of Burgundy; The great terroirs are here, the most desirable names of the wine world. Vineyards such as Chambertin, Musigny, Romanée-Conti, La Tâche welcome the traveler along the vineyard road that crosses the magnificent terroirs. A little white wine is also made in the Côte de Nuits, some of it is even excellent, certainly unique; But next to the greatness of the red wines, you can say that this is esoterica. This sub-region got its name from the picturesque town in its southern part — Nuits-St.-Georges, a little south of it.
